Bloxham is a large village with cottages built from local ironstone, character properties and modern new-build homes. The High Street leads up to the very impressive Church of St. Mary Our Lady of Bloxham. Its 14th century tower and spire is a local landmark and said to be one of the highest in Oxfordshire. In the centre of the village is Bloxham Independent School, with its impressive school buildings offering co-educational boarding and day school. Bloxham is also home to the Warriner secondary school, a popular choice for many local parents. Bloxham is exceptionally well placed for easy commutes to Banbury and Chipping Norton.
