Welcome to Banbury

Banbury is one of the main towns serving North Oxfordshire. A historic market town on the river Cherwell, conveniently located for the M40 with access to Oxford, London and Birmingham. The train station also provides an easy commute into central London within an hour.

For many, Banbury will spark memories of the famous nursery rhyme; ‘Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross’, commemorated with the beautiful statue and monument in the town centre.

Today Banbury is a lively town where you will find historic charm and newer developments such as the Oxford canal area and shopping retail parks. Like many towns, Banbury has recently seen an influx of new home sites, popular with families and first-time buyers.
